This policy explains when purchases can be returned or refunded. Because firearms are regulated products, some sales are final by law.
Firearms — All Sales Final
Once ATF Form 4473 is completed and a firearm is released to the purchaser, the sale is final. Federal law generally prohibits a dealer from accepting a returned firearm. If you believe an item has a manufacturer defect, contact the manufacturer directly for warranty service; we are glad to help facilitate that process.
Background-Check Denials
If a NICS background check results in a denial or delay, the firearm cannot be released. The purchase amount for the firearm is refundable, less any non-refundable transfer or processing fees described below. Refunds are returned to the original payment method.
Transfer Fees
- Our standard FFL transfer fee is $40.
- The transfer fee becomes non-refundable once we have received the incoming firearm.
- If the sending dealer fails to ship through no fault of ours, we will refund the transfer fee upon proof the transfer was canceled.
Accessories & Non-Firearm Items
Non-firearm items (holsters, optics, magazines, parts, and accessories) may be returned within 14 days of delivery if they are unused, in original packaging, and accompanied by proof of purchase from Whiskey Tango Firearms LLC. The following are non-returnable once opened or taken from the premises: ammunition, electronic/optic items once opened, and custom or special-order items.
Training & Service Bookings
- Cancellations made 48 or more hours before the scheduled start receive a full refund.
- Cancellations made within 48 hours receive store credit only.
- No-shows are non-refundable.
How to Request a Refund or Return
Contact us at Sales@wtguns.com or (262) 914-7000 with your order number and the reason for the return. We respond within one business day. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days after we receive and inspect any returned item.
Chargebacks
Please contact us first — most issues are resolved quickly. Filing a chargeback without contacting us may delay resolution. We retain order, shipping, and ATF transaction records that document each transaction.
